The Chimney Pot Oslo was founded in February 1998, aiming to build a world class post-production facility in Norway. They needed a site revamp,
as well as a structural reorganization after their merger with drylab.no
The site is non-Flash for Search Engine Optimization. The look is kept simple because there is a lot of data to be presented and navigated. The site uses
PHP, embedded Flash and a simple Google Maps snippet.

Client: Birgitte Borud

Birgitte Borud owns an exclusive upholstery boutique in Oslo's upscale Frogner neighbourhood. She wanted a site that reflected her taste and style, while
appealing to women aged 25 and over.
The site is all Flash for the "WOW" factor. While currently purely informational, it will allow clients to sign up for email notifications, receive estimates etc.

Griff offers independent consulting within investment management, liability management and overall financial strategy and risk management. Established
in 2002, it has long term financial assets of over USD 8 Billion. Its clients are pension funds, municipalities, endowments and family offices.
This was a purely informational site, but Griff wanted to wow their clients with fun graphics and a different look. The site was made in all Flash, with
externalized text so the client could update it themselves. The Flash code also allows users to switch languages between Norwegian and English.

Arctic-Blue is a maker of boats built for speed and comfort. The site needed to cater to males aged between 21 and 50, and invoke
a calm serene ocean feeling, but yet have an element of speed and thrill.
Being a purely informational site, it has only a Flash "mood" intro while the remainder of the site is written in HTML for Search Engine Optimization.

Rosebud is targeted towards women and girls between the ages of 13 to 40. The site sells Rosebud salve lip balm online,
and provides a web presence for the company.
To make the site visually appealing, it was written entirely in Flash, with a simple
a PHP backend to handle online email orders. Text was externalized so the client could update it themselves. The site has been featured in
several fashion magazine across Norway and Scandinavia, such as
Elle, Cosmopolitan, Henne, [mag] and Tique among others. What started off as a tiny project by two first time women entrepreneurs today has
thousands of dedicated clients and will soon be expanding into the remainder of Scandinavia and eventually the rest of and Europe.

An American icon, The Sharper Image is a specialty retailer that is nationally and internationally renowned as a leading source of new, innovative,
high-quality products that make life better and more enjoyable. A significant and growing proportion of sales are of proprietary
products created by the Company's product development group, Sharper Image Design. The Company operates more than 150 stores
throughout the United States and mails millions of its award-winning catalogs each month. The Company also has an online auction
site where consumers can place bids to win Sharper Image products at lower prices.
Sharperimage.com runs on ATG's Dynamo application server, using Java servlets, JHTML, DHTML and javascript. It makes use of HTTPS for
secure credit card transaction, has a custom promotional system, a custom email notification system, a custom client tracking system and a custom
affiliate marketing system, among others. An "industrial strength" e-commerce site, sales on sharperimage.com total millions of dollars each day.

The leading Internet professional services firm of its time, USWeb/CKS applied its extensive insight, experience and scale to deliver
breakthrough results quickly. The Company was headquartered in San Francisco, California, with more than 4,000 professionals in 13
countries around the world. As a victim of the dot-com crash of 2000, USWeb/CKS, renamed MarchFIRST, filed for Chapter 11 on April 13, 2001
and eventually dissolved completely, but several of the sites it helped create are live and well today:

updated using OpenText's content management system. The site also has a sophisticated search facility.

UltraDNS is the leading provider of Managed DNS Services, creates and powers technology solutions that enhance the reliability,
scalability and performance of the world's largest and most highly available networks, including that of Microsoft, Oracle and
the .org Top Level Domain root infrastructure.
UltraDNS wanted updates to its ultradns.net site to allow clients to manage their DNS settings on the UltraDNS database. The legacy
ColdFusion site was re-architected with J2EE standards, with liberal use of XML.
